WE NEED NEW PLAYS
WE NEED NEW PLAYS is a Seattle-based short play festival dedicated to amplifying new works by local artists and creating opportunities for new play development.
This summer, we will produce our first festival, a live staged reading of six 20-minute plays. Playwrights will have the opportunity to work with a director, dramaturg, and stage manager to develop their play before the performance.
This year’s festival will be August 2 at 6pm in the Bullitt Cabaret at ACT Contemporary Theatre!
