WE NEED NEW PLAYS
WE NEED NEW PLAYS is a Seattle-based short play festival dedicated to amplifying new works by local artists and creating opportunities for new play development.
In summer 2024, we produced our first festival, a live staged reading of six 20-minute plays. Playwrights had the opportunity to work with a director, dramaturg, and stage manager to develop their play before the performance.
